Stop living in the past :) , private servers are shit.

I am living in the past for WoW because the present is pure shit. I'd rather step in dog shit for fun than play on retail. The only thing I'd be grateful for on retail is not smelling the pure shit it is generating. lol

Not saying people that play it have any problems. I am just giving my opinion and the opinion of many that have played the game for longer than the last couple expansions.

Just try it for your self people either hate it or love it , me personally i enjoy the game but when i play i play to much an i end up destroying the content so fast i get bored and make a ton of alts.

I'm new to Wow, just recently started playing it.
having fun so far but the story line seems broken.
the chat/auction is pretty lame as most people on there are vet players and only want to lol at newbies.
not liking the social side of it, but the play is fairly entertaining.

Wow is absolutely worth buying.

At no point was the game bad or unfun. The game has had a ton of flaws introduced to it over the years, that's for sure, but most of those flaws are only highlighted due to the way the game was years ago. However, the game remains insanely good in spite of these flaws, and it's also just a fact that many people -like- what blizzard has done over the years, even if I don't. (things like reducing the exp needed to level drastically, and damaging immersion for the sake of convenience, contentious points that are good to some people and bad to others.)

Aside from these contentious points, the game has objectively gotten better over the years in other ways that even the most nostalgic players can't deny. (Like raids are insanely better these days, and the questlines on the latest expansions are so good...)

So yeah, it's worth buying. The real question will be if you think it's worth the sub fee, but personally, I think it is as well. I take breaks from time to time, but every time I come back, it's always for like 6+ months and I enjoy it the whole time.

I used to spend my life on this game since 2004 up until Warlords of Draenor. The game is complete garbage and not worth buying. I guess if you never played the game before, you'll never know how good the game used to be so go ahead and try it for urself.. But nobody plays it anymore.. 95% of servers are all low pops now.

games good dude

don't bother with people that are crying about how its changed, and just try it out for yourself. play on a popular server for the best play experience.

imo...never playing before and wanting to play now puts you at a huge advantage...all previous changes and nerfs and buffs etc etc are non existant to you.

only tip i could think of for you is to research what servers your wanting to play rather than roll your first toon and be stuck on a dead server

This. The game is not dead I play with plenty people all day long. As stated above the social side can be stupid depends on what side you roll and what server you roll I prefer a high pop server cause of guild hoping ( I think this was stated above as well. As for endgame content I stopped playing right after my guild downed normal emerald dream the second week the raid came out. And just got back into it and I'm almost where can I play with everyone else again end game. If you want to play and want some one to start a new chat with I'm down I could always make a alt. Pm me if you wanna start
