Now it's all just one big grind.

Now its all one big grind? You must not have played Vanilla because that was a real grind.

But back to the point yes leveling is very easy to do these days. WoW has always been a game with multiple "games" within. What I mean is some players have the most fun leveling characters and exploring that content and that is WoW to them, others enjoy raids and other content that begins at max level, while others play only PvP.

My suggestion is try to figure out what you think you would like the most. Check out youtube videos and see what you like and them focus your playing to that. If you hate leveling then you should go ahead with the RAF but if that becomes your favorite part then avoid RAF.

I played Vanilla. I didn't end-game Vanilla though.
I pvp twinked @ 19,29,39,49

Yes there is alot to do....but most of it is repetitive until they put new content out.

For instance once Nighthold comes out we probably won't get anything new for atleast a year.

I mean being repetitive is kind of Blizzard's thing. I mean just look at how repetitive D2 was and how long people have played it

I don't think there is much chance to avoid that, but regardless for a brand new player there is enough content to keep you occupied for a while.

Well that's obvious. I'm just saying there's no point in wasting time learning the game from a low level slowly when it's all end-game now.

Maybe a couple of expansions ago you could do this.
But the game has so many expansions now that you get given abilities and passives too quickly to completely understand.

You'll learn alot more about the game being level 110 for a week then you will levels 1-100 since all the current stuff is what you'll be repetitvely doing for the next couple of months or until you get tired of doing it.

The game is what you make of it, take your time, if you spend half an hour exploring a new area, or fishing in a random pond do it. Id love to experience wow again for the first time. Enjoy the levelling process and dont rush it.

is that true?

Just buy the game and level yourself.. most of the start zones are quite fun and you learn alot about the game, you will see alot of things are repeating themselves. You could always raf someone and just keep it for reward or second character, i mean.. it takes 3 Months till expiration.

you guys for real?
Seriously?
suggesting a NEW player to do raf for 300%, And rush trough everycontent? really?
Fuck no. Take your time with wow if its the first time, learn the class, learn the game in a slow and steady pace, enjoy it.

Just buy a wow battlechest and then legion. cheapest way.
GL

This. People want to RAF you for their own selfish gains, you definitely should not do it if you're a new player.
