I was arguably one of the top 3 mages in the world back in WotLK. I had multiple #1 worldwide parses week in and week out for endgame tier including 25H ICC.

And yet... I can't pull over 150k sustained dps with 865 ilvl in my druid's feral spec. Learning another class isn't exactly a walk in the park when you're used to mastering something. It took me a while to get the hang of Guardian, but now I'm tanking in a 5/7M guild.

I agree this isn't the best place to ask more often than not, but there's plenty of top-tier players that lurk around.

I play Ret now but there really aren't any active people who are top here.

To put an end to this topic...every tank is good if you know how to use it to its strengths.

Just level any tank. The only ones I wouldn't recommend are DH or Monk.

Druid/War/Pally are all good.
