I haven't personally found much money in Inscription. It's kind of a niche profession now, outside of Cards. The Glyphs you can produce are all aesthetic serving no real purpose. Think hard on that before you commit.
In my experience, Herb/Alch is GREAT money right now. The +1300 stat flasks are going for ~1000g/ea and can be made very easily if you have herbalism.
