I feel like it would be a better experience if its on HBO and has 10+ seasons... There is so much info that they csnn pull from.

Big budget with a great cast. Has a chance to be massive but it could also flop pretty hard

for WoW to be a movie it would have to be multiple movies like lord of the rings, only more.

Even though I love warcraft, I honestly think the movie will suck. I expect it to fall in a category with such recent films as Seventh Son, Jack the Giant Slayer, Snow White & the Huntsman and maybe even be as bad as Prince of Persia.

I think it is just an excuse to capitalize on a known brand with action scenes while showing off some CGI monsters. I can't imagine a 2-hour film being enough to give the characters any depth, especially considering how vast the Medivh's backstory really needs to be to appreciate him.


I have heard that they want to try to make it into a successful series of movies, and I think that's why they are starting so early in the story. If they were making it a one-shot deal, they probably would have cashed in the Thrall or Arthas stories since they are much better.

I find it impossible for the plan to not be a series

there is alot of warcraft lore.. there is gonna be like 10 of these movies...

There is enough content for 10 movies, but they can't keep making them unless they are profitable
