Short read about Jeweled Onyx Panthers tells me they do indeed cost more to make than the supposed 30k.
I can think of two other explanations.

I still don't see the relevance between dupes and 'ninja looting'

Do you actually know of any case of 'ninja loot' being removed solely for the reason that it was 'ninja looted'?
If any, how are you so certain?

Why do you keep asking me? You supply the timestamped messages and the toon name/realm in a ticket and the GM will say they removed the item but they are sorry to say that they cannot give you the item.
