Mage is easy to play and great in pvp/pve. We rarely see nerfs.

If you don't know what you want to play I would suggest druid. You can fill any role with a druid and just try out a bunch of stuff.

Hunter isn't best dps. actually isn't that good for most fights. Every fight except for 1 has good aoe/cleave. Warlocks have good cleave.

They are prime candidates for the bitch jobs.

Ignore simcraft dps or fotm class lol. Nerfs and buffs come and go. Play what you enjoy

Geginner's game guide:
PDF http://media.battle.net/documents/wow/WoW-BradyGAMES-enUS-Guide.pdf

Page 34 is hunter:

OVERVIEW
Hunters are masters of archery and marksmanship, relying on their ranged weapons
to eliminate their foes from afar, without the need to get close and personal.
Hunters are close to nature, allowing them to tame and summon wild beasts to do
their bidding. Azeroth has an immense variety of animal species, and Hunters are
able to charm their way into getting aid in battle from most of them. Pets are an
integral part of playing a Hunter, and there are a few pages devoted to them at the
end of this section.
Hunters are the only ranged class that primarily deals physical damage, mainly using
bows, crossbows, or guns. Because they’re best at range, Hunters can master
many slowing, snaring, and immobilizing mechanics to keep their enemies at bay.
Among these are traps, which can slow enemies down, prevent them from acting
altogether, or even help the Hunter deal more damage. Lastly, Hunters can take
on the aspects of several different beasts, modifying their abilities in various
interesting ways

hunter is used for tons of the mechanics, this is a new simcraft, some classes got buffed/nerfed

all the warlocks I know that play hate their class, theyre so boring

Then they were not meant to play a lock. I have been playing a lock since vanilla and it is still the most fun for me to play. Also I don't see how demonology or affliction is boring, they are actually pretty challenging if you have never played a lock before. You can't judge a class if you have never tried it.
