I've made about 180k in the last 2 weeks spending about 30 minutes / day toward gold making, never once spamming anything in chat (which to me is a major / boring waste of fukin time; just hearing the guy that's been spamming "Selling Magic Rooster Egg 260k" for the last 7 days is almost making me go crazy).

What items did you flip?

Buy low sell high.
Find high demand items, buy them all, resell, keep buying the new ones as well, as long as they are in profit range.
If you make an extra 20g/item on 100 items, that's an easy 2k and you didn't even leave SW.

When you're starting with 200k it's so easy to monopolize a market it's retarded.
Low pop servers are the best and you can pretty much run the whole AH with around 300-500k, then just buy mounts and transfer back, or take the longer route and just send pets over.

edit: also depends on the server but there's quite a few things you can craft to turn into profit off lazy people.
like bolts of cloth etc, just know the average prices of items.

Garrison Building + Hexweave cooldown = 1000g+ in value / day
Imperial Silk Cooldown =200g+ in value / day
**Making Royal Satchel = Imperial Silk (Costs about 210g to make : 5 bolt of windwool cloth (cost about 30g) + 3 Spirit of harmony (cost about 180g)) x 12 = About 550g per bag of profit ; you make YOU CAN MAKE UNLIMITED ONES, just keep an eye out for the price of bags, spirit of harmony and windwool bolts.** (do not underestimate this)

Enchanting :
Garrison Building + Temporal crystal cooldown = Maybe 750g in value / day
Keeping an eye out for the core ring, cloak and weapon enchants and see if they are profitable.

Auction House :
Many items really....Volatile X, silk cloth and Savage Bloods
The price of Savage Bloods is *BOUND* to go down and down and down forever, and it has drop a ton on my server.
But there is *ALWAYS* a 200g+ difference between the morning prices and the evening prices.
Like yesterday night bloods = 950 each, this morning 1200. Huge huge profits can be done each day.

I think farming Nok-Karosh would be a good idea for someone with 0 base gold to start with
(Create a group of 10 people "Nok free roll", you have 1 out 10 chance to get a 10k mount, so your expected value per kill is about 1k. Once you have a good group, BEFORE clicking on the greed button when the mount is being rolled for, type something like this in chat : "Is Nok up in anyone's realm?" Someone will say yes, you ask that person to create a group called Nok2Cool or something and you rinse and repeat. Super easy and fast kills that will in the long run yield you 1k per.)
