You mean dps can't keep up with the enrage, because they normally fail at it unless you're talking about the 20% soft enrage which isn't even noticeable.
Also it's your job to keep yourself up when possible to reduce the healing needed and save mana. Learn role perspective rather being some stupid herp derp dps.
Nah, I've been in groups where all dps are ~20k+ and the healers were just shit. That's just #puglife.
