technically u can pick any class, all of them r needed in pve/pvp

pvp is a little different, there will always be weak classes that no one wants (ie: Death kngihts for the past expansion)

pve, you should be fine with any class you play.

I would probably stay away from tanking since your new and people won't have the patience to teach you that lol

Druid or pally imo for your first class. Can do multiple roles so multiple experiences there.

Picking a class/race is really up to you.
Don't let other people make your decision.

Game is simple, don't sweat it.

If you are interested in pve, healers/tanks are the most in demand and easiest to get into a group as. Dps often have very long queues and are a dime a dozen


i'd pick a class that can tank or heal (all classes can dps), so that way you can level as dps and switch to tank or heal if you enjoy it/want to group up easier


everything is viable, play what interests you

IMO, best way to learn to play a game, is to play it and just wiki/google what ever you need to now

Also make friends, join a guild and get creative!
