logged in at 6:50 am EST and played for about an hour until i had to leave for school (have a Judo midterm so that'll be interesting) and a physics class.

the hour i did play this morning i had zero problems on Illidan. hopefully when i get home tonight around 6:00 pm it'll still be fine

this happens to every mmo on major launch dates, regardless of the company who releases it.

i work for a software company, and while i'm not on the infrastructure side i do deal with it when my products hit new releases.

the most basic explanation that i can give, is that there is no way to account for the MASSIVE traffic spike without sinking a lot of money into hardware that you wont need after the initial run cools off.

Yo? People are paying the money to receive something in return, not to have to do the job THEMSELVES!!(not the have to shoot themselves, least have the fucking decency and shoot them yourself)! We all have our jobs, most of us know what a appointment means,we all HAVE SHITS TO DO and when we fail em we get BLAMED or worst loose our jobs!!! We have the rights to complain.

OHH Yea i get it, you're paying for the game.. Yea.. So aren't we all ? EVERY XPACS there are people complaining everywhere specially on the WoW forums saying they want a 24h refunds because they are * PAYING * For this service, MOST of these people have been playing this game for YEARS and yet still don't understand how HUGE this game is. Even if you complain the shit out of yourself this will end to nothing. Because these guys at blizzard works 24/7 on release week to make the servers smoothers and the play enjoyable for everyone. This is not some random game with 200 000 - 300 000 people playing, it's the biggest MMORPG, you need as a player to do like everyone does ( play with the lags and hope the servers will be better soon ) You said that they did their job wrong, well... Where ? The servers are online even with the millions of players logging in every minutes.

Unicorn perspective: Blizzard launches WoD and all of its 8 million users got to play the game happily and without latency issues and BrokenWill got a friendly donation

Lets not fool ourselfs,i didn't ask for a refund and i do understand the things, but the people jumping on their defense so easily are pissing me off,specially when im told i should fix the problem MYSELF.
