if you come up with a crazy story it could possibly be restored blaming them..... that you are unfamiliar with all the changes and updates blizzard has done as to how they changed the friends list ordeal having to show people your battle tag or email say one of your friends got your email and knows you IRL tell em they know your date of birth etc and you feel as if your account has been and is currently compromised saying he knew your security questions (for example what's your pet's name) or whatever and took your gold just come up with a realistic number too... doubt theyll hand you over 2m gold without seriously looking over things
