That's how talents used to work.
You didn't have a spec and could get talents from BM, MM or Survival talent trees.

I've tested all specs at ilvl 560. And they don't differ more than 1-300dps. Play whatever you feel satisfied with.

This is probably the most inaccurate comment i've ever heard right now.

When i'm on Garrosh in SoO my average DPS is around 6k as MM, 2.5k as survival

When i'm on paragons the discrepency is even more, 6k vs 2k.

When i'm at frogs farming, I get more coins per hour as survival.

I've never bothered with BM 'cause I don't see much use in it, but specs are incredibly situational.

Pretty much find the spec you like, give it a go and if you dont like it try a different one. Everyone has their playstyle preference.

I just assume you dont know how to play your class then. If you got 6,5k dmg as MM and 2,5k as Suv. You clearly are doing something wrong mate
