Pretty much this, you deal helluva lot of dmg while healing the whole group
Just shield the tank and keep nuking the shit out of the mobs

disc, plain and simple

as a warning on low lvls, your shield often absorbs more than the tank has HP, so when it drops be ready to spam that flash heal
and also atonement healing is OP as shit, never had to really use heals till raids (and before you get atonement ofc)

thanks. i never would've imagined that power word shield needs to be refreshed when it falls off.

I meant when mobs dps it down ofc...

why would u flash heal over penance

because penance will top him off just once, if weakened soul is still up you just have to do something, esp. if the tank goes all rambo and pulls multiple packs while his gear is trash, as it oftentimes happened

i've leveled 4 disc priest this expac and healed with a bunch of mongloid tanks... and i've never had to use anything outside of power word shield and penance...
