literally on every forum/stream/in-game is people talking about roster issues, how dead/impossible it is to recruit new members, GRAVEYARD that's PvP -- especially if you are EU (NA PvP scene is somehow more active)



not sure if you know but other games are at 200k-500k+++ people (even PUBG(LOL) a game made in 2017 has more active day-to-day players compared to SoD, era, or cataclysm



sod is blizzards biggest failure, it is honestly the most casual casual mode, with the most updates and dev-to-player interactions yet one of the least played game modes



WoW side of this forum is 10000% dead. There is barely any real players selling real farmed gold, majority of these people are gold sellers who get more fg value vs usd so they post it here

tl;dr majority of people don't want to play old era, majority of players don't want to play sweatfest called cataclysm, majority of people dont want to SR/HR and super casual life of SoD, retail is the best answer for a new player returning

play classic fresh or retail
sod and cataclysm are a waste of time
era is going to be dead once classic fresh comes out thursday
or play HC on the fresh servers, literally anything besides SoD/cata/era
