I only made it halfway to level 111 and gave up.

I guess I'd rather wait and invest my time into classic.

After playing classic nonstop for the last 5 years it's been nice playing BFA. Pretty refreshing and definitely shows how they've progressed the game.

I'll still be playing classic when it comes but I'm enjoying BFA so far.

It's been quite literally mastered. We had MC BWL Ony down entirely all 3 in about an hour and some change. AQ about an hour. Naxx about 3 or so. Some guilds spend awhile in there though.

If you gave up at level 110.5, then you didn't experience anything. In fact, you barely even started.
And I mean that as in you probably took longer to download the game than you played it. You didn't quit -- you just failed to start.



I thought the same thing when they were talking about releasing old school runescape.
Now, osrs has more players than rs3 - granted osrs is more profitable due to a younger market and new raids with stupidly expensive items, and easier to bot due to older system and lower specs required.
Likewise, an official re-release of classic WoW opens up a fresh market with interested players, just like a ladder reset for D2/3, or new leagues/races in PoE.
I enjoyed getting realm firsts for several raids, but the raiding community today is just toxic as fuck. If they bring the current raiding mentality with them to classic, that would only kill my good old memories.

i just think its gonna be a dumb idea guilds will have it on farm 200000x faster then it was in classic back then and then the classic servers plateau? are they gonna re release tbc too? i uno rather then go back in time refine it now imo

Warfronts were an absolute abortion of content, clearly unfinished with zero mechanics or effort put into creating something enjoyable.

Island expeditions are a garbage zerg fest with zero mechanics.

Both are trash, you're right. But that's really not the epitome of the expansion. Mythic + is actually interesting for now, the raid is pretty tightly tuned, Pvp rewards are actually fucking decent now, and balance isn't absurdly fucked for now.

Granted there's a few classes at the bottom, but that's inevitable. Every class has a niche at the moment, be it one spec or another
