Arms is 20-27% haste, prot is 25-30% haste for breakpoints.
Both stack mastery/vers after your bps. Prots getting a rework in 7.2 though.

Yes and no.

Trinkets with effects don't work in instances pvp.

The bottom line is, you just want to equip your highest tem level pieces in every slot for instanced pvp.

I was wondering, cuz I just set my loot on prot even in pvp, because afaik in pvp instances the system just changes ur stats according to itemlevel, so if i get prot compatible gear to tank in pve, i'll be able to use that gear on arms pvp, right?
minor differences don't bother me much, as i'm not really aiming too high, just to fuck around on a somewhat decent level

Exactly the pvp templates are preset. It changes all your stats no matter what. The important thing is to have the highest item level pieces equipped so the fixed stats are as high as possible.

One question remains. The items i get from pvp. Are they okay for pve? I have my loot spec on protection.
Thanks for the answers so far btw.

Assuming the "pvp" item has the ideal stats for your spec, they are the same exact thing as "pve" gear for you. With exception of like the trinket that increases ur HP if ur not a tank. Everything else should be just as useful.
