Each expansion is a different experience, but having max level characters in a previous expansion is still comparable to having them in this expansion.

If someone has 15, they are probably just using most of them for access to extra IDs and dailies for more gold and professions. That doesn't really make someone less of a noob than someone who had 3 in a previous expansion. Which one is a bigger noob just depends on who was better at them.
