New to tanking, thinknig about leveling one. what do you guys think?

best tanks when skilled are warrior and druid, dk is the best for starters

Tanks are generally boring to play imo but BRM is not too bad, lol blood dk is gay as fuck after removal of heart strike and druid is like just spam swipe. Prot pally is well... pallies are just boring and slow as shit.

I don't think I've tanked on war... after they gutted wars in WoD I stopped playing it completely.

Fun =\= better

I have a level 100 tank of every class.

Funniest imo to level, by order:

Druid (spam thrash and keep moving and watch them die)
Monk (very good.tank and very funny but too many abilities for someone like you)
Warrior (super fun, after 32 spam thunder and move like druid)
Dk (great tank but somewhat boring)
Pally (good tank but feels too heavy and boring)

why are they funny?

All depends on your play style, most people would recommend DK and they would be right. No matter if you do heroic spam/LFR/heroic raid/mythic raids, AOE grip is very useful. their servivibility is extremely high.

If your gearing up in heroic HFC, can't go wrong with prot paladins or brewmaster monks(once 4pc+trinkets)



As first time tank, i would go with DK(plus you start @ 55)

I have all the classes leveled to 100 and leveled them all as tanks. I personally find warrior and druid to be the funnest. I don't like dk tanking very much because of the rune system. Paladin is just kind of meh. Monks are overall really fun and have some nice mobility. I'd pick druid over warrior simply because all druid specs are pretty good right now if you decide to switch it up. Arms warrior is boring as shit.

dk got the worst survivability, but the most cooldowns

druid is currently the strongest

i say try a blood dk or monk if u want to try something new
