Hey guys, so I used to play diablo and runescape back in the day and was always a fan. I'm thinking of getting WoW and playing casually off and on. I know nothing about WoW, any reasons why I should or shouldn't?

Its nice if you keep it casual and do various things.

No one really cares if you play mate, game is 10 years old.. play if you want or if you dont want, dont play it.
What the fuck is this "reasons to play or not".. just play if you dont like stop playing, fucking simple isnt it?

played hardcore burnt myself out been playing semi casual since mop I started collecting mounts and lvling alt so i have more of a variety to play on

if your ging to play the game play it for fun dont make it into something you hate and you will enjoy it

My biggest concern is what you guys addressed: it's difficult to play casually. From what I've heard it's a very addictive game. Also, there is the learning curve for a new game which can sometimes be pretty annoying.

i.e. is my question equivalent to asking "Should I take up crack?"

You know how a dealer will sometimes start watering down his product after he builds up a solid customer base, counting on their addiction to keep his business afloat? That watered-down version is basically what the game has become now, so I wouldn't suggest hopping on now.

As an addict, I'm still playing casually because I need my fix from time to time.
