Meh the games past the point of gold giving anyone a real big advantage. If people want to bot they should just let them since they never controlled the game economy in the first place.

All I have to say about that is laissez faire. Ban exploiters as defined by the ToS and carry on. It's a world so if you didn't put in any time to make gold (as in real life) you don't deserve any more gold than you get. Not saying that is your argument at all, but rather this is just my point of view.

Regarding the 6 month comment, I think blizzard realizes that people that bot still play . And people take breaks from wow. So in 6 months when they the ban is lifted they will be eager to play again and be legit this time. Blizzard makes money off returning customers, not by jewing people over and forcing them to rebuy the box prices all over again.
