How did wow gold become so worthless?

It is far from worthless, I sell things constantly on AH and make tons of it. You can easily spend all your gold on a gold capped character in a day if you wanted to.

gold is really easy to spend in wow... mounts/battle pets/ alts etc.. So i dont think it become worthless.

Unless you're into buying mounts it's pretty worthless.

For now. Keep your good cause I've read that blizz will have an option to buy time with gold. And with how easy it is to get can play for just a few hours of farming

Yep. This will add a lot of value to gold. Blizzard will control the $:wowgold ratio with this addition.
