Was wondering if it's worth getting these just to minimize strain on my eyes? I work at a computer all day and then go home and play video games (not all day) but still. That's a lot of computer time.

Does anyone have these or think they are worth getting?

I don't want to get them to 'Increase my gaming performance' that's just stupid.

But blue light from the monitors screws with your melatonin which causes you to screw up your sleeping schedule. I basically am looking for some glasses to prevent so much blue light.

there is something you can install to add the yellowish tint to your screen to make it easier on the eyes.

a buddy of mine in tech support did it when he set up my comp and now i dont even notice it. its a bit weird at first but your eyes will thank you.

I've had mine for about 2 months and absolutely love them!

That being said i still think you should try out a program called "f.lux" before buying a pair of gunners. This is the program slacker057 mentioned and the basics of it is to add a layer of yellowish color to your screen to reduce eye straining

so try flux? I'll install it tonight if I find it and see over the weekend if it helps. I've tried taking melatonin pills and it really doesn't help all that much.
