I have 2 questions mainly:

How do people do it?
Is there any sanction from Blizzard if they find out?

Well since ur brand new to jsp, and welcome btw, u will have to send FG or trade gold first and then the other person either sends u FG or gives u gold

I don't think anyone has gotten caught doing it on this site, but I'm sure there's precautions from doing so. The odds of getting caught are slim

Just don't announce that you're selling/buying gold and you should be fine.

Yea, you agree on a post who is going to buy what and that.
You can request a mediator (a third party individual from the website, who is like a middle man for the trade)
You discuss the trade here, and through PMs etc, you give each other you in game names, and only talking about the trade is done through this site, do not mention the trade in game.
Also you have to actually trade the gold, if you mail it, blizzard has more ability to track the gold and then you can run into issues.

"Trading WoW Gold:
You must be in possession of the gold you are trading before you post a thread or response.
You must state how much gold you are selling and which realm the gold is currently on. Unspecified or "unlimited" offers are not allowed.
You are not permitted to take orders for gold, or attempt to trade gold you do not have.
Gold may not be traded through the mailing system. All trades need to be done "face-to-face" through the in game trading window.
Illegal Trades:
These are the things you may not trade for.
WoW time cards. These are only permitted in Real Life Trades with access through the Donor Forum. Please read here for more information.

Ive bought and sold gold a couple of times... been smooth everytime, Ive actully never been scammed in any trade ever on d2jsp.. and ive done probably more than 100+ trades on a variety of games.. ppl on d2jsp is usually very nice and seirous when it comes to trade

the safest way to gold trade is by buying something off the ah, say they post some random green chest piece for 200k gold, or something. It gets cut by the AH massively, but theres little to no risk that way. I'm pretty sure you're safe just straight up trading now tho because gold numbers are so ridiculous that someone giving another player 100k is no longer rare

or u could fake a duel for gold
or a /roll for gold

It's pretty easy to trade/sell gold on here. Don't really mention JSP or the buying/selling in game and you'll be fine

Careful for scammers though in the trade forum, really hard to get them banned and they scam a few people before they get locked.

then you guess his age

make sure you put an item in the trade window. it'll look suspicious if some rando just gives you pure gold for nothing.
