I plan on purchasing a new desktop for WoD once I get my tax refund and I'm looking for opinions on a budget.

I want to be able to run on high+ settings.

This won't be a prebuilt.

I was thinking $1000-$1500 or could I get away with something lower?

I built a PC for my friend for 1,000 and he can run anything on high graphics, but that didn't include a mouse/keyboard monitor or any of that stuff so I hope you have that already

You can easily build a decent computer that will run 60fps on ultra for 800$

Invest in a nice computer, dont just buy something that runs something.

It will last you years and 200 or 300 dollars more is nothing for something that you will use for years countless of hours.

You should get a 4790k and 780ti

Buy that then build around those parts.

High graphics don't matter to me much, hence why I play on a $850 laptop.

but from what I know and hear alienware is where its at

Of course, although this computer won't be used for much more than homework, games, and downloading things. Saying that, I still in the debating phase as to how much I'll end up spending.

I heard alienware was overpriced garbage honestly. But that was a few years ago.

alien ware is complete over priced garbage you can build a nice computer off newegg for around 1,000 that will handle way more than WoW on high settings
