I tried to rename a char, and just before sending the request with the new name I erased the charname that I want to change, but it says "a character with the name ******** already exist".
Why? The name must stay erased for some minutes?

You normally need to logout and wait for 10 minutes

Case 1:
The name has too be created as char
Then let it expire + w8 24h on top after it got expired

Case 2:
be risky delete it and w8 24h then u can use it

Basicaly the charname must be dont touched after it got deleted for 24h then it can be used for the rename tool

The new charname, not the char lvl xx wich u wanna rename.
This works like usual, sent request, dont touch the char for 10min and use the email link. Above its only for the new name u want too use

Renaming a character is a bit risky. If the name is too good i would make a new char and level it.
