IF i use the Flickering Flame in a2 Merc that have holy freeze aura
Would it aply the -%FR to all monsters the aura hit?

Mercs don't apply -res unless it's from auras like conviction as far as I remember.

that is very bad, so using something like Obedience (weapon with -FR too) would be a waste of time

I guess the idea of build i had is dead now :cry:

Only conviction works on merc to lower res because that's what the aura does. Otherwise, yeah it's kind of a waste to build that way on merc.

-res only works for the user its on, so no merc cannot help u lower an enemys fire resist other than infinity
