What I mean is I've played this game since it was released and I still remember the glory days of grandfathers being godly. Then BoTD taking over.

Well fast forward to today and I finally have an eth CB 6os and a zod in my stash. I'm stoked but I feel nostalgia is taking over utility.

I've tried to search a lot but just need some advice. As of 2.6 is there a BiS example for a BOTD?

Grief is always better it seems. Is BOTD ever good for PvM? Eth Berserker axe? Eth War Pike? Act 5 merc? Act 2 merc? Barb? Zealer?

I'd love to have something shiny to look at but if it's not BiS in anything I rather trade the Zod and CB and make my other builds benefit. Appreciate any advice on this!

Hell I will be doing the same one day. I plan to make a botdcb just for nostalgia sake. Put on a Levi etc and play how I use to before grief and fort.

Ty for this, Is that something you mentioned because I'm assuming the barb will have max GF thus suck at kill speed and the merc kills all of counsel? Or actually I guess just giving him serious damage with a might merc, prob eth kiras and eth g angel... That sounds fun. In this scenario I'd assume an eth reaper is more common. Does ebotd wp outperform eth reapers?

Yeah, usually you max GF on barb using 2x 6 Lem phase blade or 2x lem'd or ist'd ali babas, and leap around the council, stunning them, while merc does good pow pow job.

interesting... is this exclusively GF or can I MF with this? Dual 6'isted CS? I just read the alibabs lol. that's probably way more economical. Thank you Cersei! I'll have a look into this build

I've tried both and landed on something closer to Tyson Barb build, I found self dps to be more fun and effective and less frustrating than solely relying on merc, though merc still does his fair share of killing. Happy to share my gear and build interested.
