you dont put chains of honor on a merc, you put treachery on merc, with a tresher or crypric axe

good if you want him to do dmg but he dies often when fade doesnt proc

answer :
1. a capable player would not let their merc die like that.
or
2. it has been theory crafted that chains of honor should never be used on a merc. its either treachery or forti

pick one.

fort probably will be it, never really liked treachery not wanting to babysit the pet

idk about losing andy helm's 10% leech without replacing fort with coh, though

Choose max attack speed/weapon range base for your merc for sure as he is doing melee damage and jab attack.

And so treachery armor is used tho for act2 jaber.

its great with infinity i admit, helps the pet deal alot of CB but with insight i doubt it has any value, just need the merc to provide meditation and cleansing (and not die)

Depends on your preferences, usually check d2 Speedcalc with Treachery/ Fortitude if you can reach a better IAS BP or if another jewel is better put in your Andy.

to make it easy pick Thresher or giant Thresher:

Thresher / Giant Thresher ( fastest, both same speed, GT higher damage) + Andy with 15 ias/30FR ( 15 ias brings next BP ) + Forti = 5.5 Frames / attack ( best option i think, high damage also makes higher Life Leech)

Thresher / Giant Thresher ( fastest ) + Andy with or withoout 15ias doesn't matter you can RAL that + Treachery= 5 Frames / Attack ( as mentioned he dies probably if fade procs late )

Be Aware that +6 Crit vs. +1Crit is a huge damage difference on your insight ( 16% of your attacks double damage vs. 46% of your attacks double damage). 6 crit 200% ed should outdamage a 260% ed +1 crit insight

There's gonna be different Breakpoints for other bases, CV and CA are the slowest (+10 base speed) vs Thresher and GT fastest (-10 base speed)

Range on Mercs is always 3, ignore that
