Edit: and to actually add something meaningful to the discussion: no, it wouldn't change anything. Every fcr item which is not BiS right now but needed to reach 200fcr would be replaced with the BiS item if you gain the remaining needed fcr through boots, so the variety would still be basically zero

but it might bring in some fluctuations for 99/102/105/117/125/163 fcr points?
on the other hand most builds probably dont even want to free up their ring slots since a rare 10fcr ring does a lot more than just a soj...

Doesn't matter which breakpoint you are looking at. Every other slot but boots are either for fcr or damage. Boots as they are right now offer either res or stats. Res and to a lesser degree stats can be on caster boots as well (rare or crafted). So you would still change the boots to fcr boots and use the slot which you have used for fcr for BiS items. -> still no diversity
And if a stat ring was better for the build before this assumed change, it would be better afterwards as well. Either way, doesn't change the variety.

i dont understand why it is called caster boots if they dont provide fcr. it does not make any sense xD
but yes, I would absolutely agree to get 5-10 fcr rolls in these crafts. can you imagine how flexible the 200 fcr sorc builds could be from this little change... Actually all caster chars would feel that
