Was going to make a Zealer and use an Exile wondering if this base would work or if it's not worth it?

I've read multiple places and it's been mixed on the results, is it worth throwing a lazurk and making exile, or just charsi it?

depends on the rest of gear and purpose
pvp: no (you want an elite base with high def)
pvm: maybe. def is not that important there, also as a paladin using exile you will have plenty. thing to consider here is if you want ed/ar or @ on your shield

the base def and block chance though is very low for the base you posted and will be beaten by any exceptional or elite base, so think twice if you want to invest two valuable runes

If it's for pvm I would go for all res all the time and the only worth exceptional base is royal shield

Oh so you don't rate Vortex? Or is Vortex only good for smiters? becasue of the dps?

vortex is an elite base. he was talking about exceptionals

As far as I know vortex and St are the only worthy base

ST for highest block, SR for highest avg dmg, vortex for highest def and highest max dmg (if people want that for some reason), zakarum for most constistent damage. choice of preference
