I finally got a stormlash but I recently kept getting told a beast is better. Is beast better ?

Lacerator or Lawbringer, unless you can Dragon Flight a Reaper's merc onto the bosses and keep them alive, in which case a Stormlash is great. These options will increase your crushing blow effectiveness to 100%. Lawbringer will knock back the undeads which is great.
