The following is an opinion and with that said you can do as you wish...
After my experiences and after the experiences of a number of friends with the online chaos that D2:R was, it's a huge no on investing any more money on Blizzard games. Maybe, well, maybe after Microsoft buys them and there is some semblance of caring about their client base (gamers) and their coders, I may take a look. For now, my response to Blizz is a huge and sonorous "No way Jose."
For when I need a little time away from thingies, I'll stick to playing the Legacy games. They are still fun and have stood the test of time.
