Is it true that a Mancatcher wont work as an INSIGHT base?

Are there other exceptions to item types for other runewords? Any source that has accurate labels for runeword bases? (I have been using Arreat Summit).

Be careful with what information you get. This is the D2 LoD discussion forum, so I asume you are either

1) one of the many D2R players posting in the wrong forum
2) playing D2 LoD

D2R got changes to runewords in patch 2.4. You are even able to make insight in Bows now etc. Infinity can even be put into amazon spears.
