You have to install Sven's glide wrapper, put the glide.dll file in your main d2 folder. There's a readme file included with the download for Sven's glide wrapper, but it'll just essentially end up telling you to do the same thing.
After that right click on your Diablo II desktop icon and go to properties, on the target line put -w -3dfx
Next right click on svens glide wrapper icon and open under administrator mode and run the program, there you'll have different opinions to set you fps cap, resolution, etc. Make necessary changes to your choosing and close the program. Next right click on your Diablo II desktop icon then run under administrator. And then you should be good to go.
