I gonna build a char solely for pvp, so Idk. Ladder? Guess NL is more decked out in gear.

I believe you need a while to get all gear you need. Start collecting on ladder - higher availability and better prices right now. Cons - you have to wait 2-3 months to reset when you get everything.

D2 lod was gg for pvp
D2R is for pvm with no endgames pvp it’s a sham

Pvp NL. There's lots of pubs, it's not lod but don't get too bogged down by the nerds living in nostalgia, it's not that much different. They just don't wanna give up their gear and it's 50x easier to chainlock in lod

Felt like the opposite to me. Chaining is so easy in d2r.. ofc sometimes it breaks randomly unlike in og d2 but overall it feels easier to namelock and chain
