My thoughts are catching up on whether it's worth continuing to play season 3 at all, or just switching to Single Player.

I used to get a lot of satisfaction from selling items and building characters for the MF, but unfortunately this season the market looks terrible, first the bug with sunder talismans, then the public method of copying items and now the open bot which is used by a large percentage of "players". I know bots have always been a part of the game, but in d2r it seems to be on a massive scale.
Plus the price of anni (in the old d2 it was a challenge, a small group of people who dealt with hunting and setting up games).

How do you feel, would you like the old mechanics to remain? Or do you like the new ones and are you looking forward to season 3?

its become a single player PvM game
the only advantage of it being on battle net is you can trade
imo playing self found single player is probably more enjoyable

Why is everyone so depressed? Its a game.

Yes, it's a game that used to be rewarding. The first season had "that something", unfortunately the second season no longer does. All those who remember the old D2 are already at such an age, however, that they spend more time on their private lives, not on the game. It's a shame, because I'd like to make a quick run after work, catch a shako and have the satisfaction of finding something unique and valuable. It's possible that I sound like a depressive boomer, but that's exactly the feeling I have about this game.

so you didn't complain about S1?..

In season 1 there was great hype for a comeback, the economy looked better too. I'm not saying it was perfect because I also finished it quickly, but it brought me more fun than the current one.

play the ladder until you aren't having fun. then switch games or play single player.

It's simple play what's fun.

So d2r tried to make it better, but it only made it worse. People are too easy. It feels to me like a big scam. I'm so glad i didn't buy it, i am looking forward to the original d2 ladder reset in december. If i had bought d2r, i would have a sour taste about it and it would distance me from d2.

It's just a bigger market for the bots. That's what blizzard should have focused on; Keep original d2 clean of cheating, and maybe charge 1$ a month to be able to play it. Or even 50 cents. Just, anything to not have these kinds of flop decisions.

But it wasn't a flop decision for the owner, who made 600 million dollars on it. It's friggin sickening. And now the criminal botters make money too.

People are too easy.

I started playing single player this season for these reason and so far i have no regrets

Already got a little army of lvl90+ chars and growing also found plenty of hrs at this point, and prolly wanna get atleast 1 99 char
