Is there a difference in a 6 Isted phase blade compared to a crystal sword? Seems like a CS is more practical because the dex required for a PB? Is it just preference or is there a reason people make it in a phase blade?

Pitzerkers make it in a PB (for the off hand) because of the higher attack speed. If you wanna use it on a swap on a sorceress or any other caster char, for more MF, you would use the CS.
