for hdin then maybe 250-300

cold sorc and zerk barb can get a lot more

Cool im right around 300 on my hdin was aiming for around 350
Def seem to get better drops around 300.
Vs no mf gear and just nigma/shako/gheeds

It's still mostly an RNG thing. Today you will get nice drops with 300mf, the other day nothing.

I usually aim to have 250-300mf. You have to consider kill speed too. If you get up above 300 but you kill too slow then is it really worth it?

It really depends on what you are looking for. The first 200 mf are more impactful then the next 800mf. But, if you look for specific super-rare uniques, you might wanna stack more MF, if you don't reduce your kill speed too much.

kills speed and amount of players in game is more impactful than a little extra mf. should be quite easy to hit 250-300mf with cookie cutter gear and that's really all you need.
