If more than one enemy are in range, how is WW hits distributed among targets. Does it matter if target is closer to you (both within weapon range)

As if you would hit one.

it hits all targets in the same time without priority over which target shall it hit first, second or last.
if target is within a range, it gets hit.

However I am pretty sure from reading all other discussions, that WW is NOT an AOE spell. It hits only 1 target per hit check among targets within range.
