So I just defeated Diablo and I'm level 22; I'd like to get to 40 in norms so I can use it as a bumper for a full grush. What is the best way to level in norms?

Also I'm reading somewhere that I can do ancients and baal runs just not kill baal. Is that right?

Any ideas? biggest thing is, can I kill norm ancients as long as I never finish baal and then still bump normal?

For level 22-24 i would recommend either cows or tombruns. Cows are faster if you got someone to enchant you. Then do ancients to get from 24 to 25, and do normal baalruns till 40.
You can do ancients and baal runs, but when it comes to baal, just press q to see if you are able to do the quest or not. If you are worried that you might forget to look for it, just always leave before the runners do baal, and you're 100% safe. Some runners skip baal anyway, cause he takes so much time to kill without a higher level char.

Don't even try to do baalruns before level 25, as you will receive very very little xp gains. Once you are 25, you should get around 2 levels or even more per run, until level 33-35

Within a chant game:
cows 20 to 27
then ancients for the +1 to level: 28
then throne runs over and over again 'til 40 (if Baal is a quest, don't kill baal. If you are playing with someone who has already killed Baal, have them make the game so you can kill Baal w/o losing the quest as Baal quest is done)

without chant, it's caffeine drinks and grinding away chaos, world stone 1, 2, and 3 and throne.
