I have a 939 def 79 Ed AP COH which means it's a 9 Ed AP base. Base archon plates have 410-524 defense without Ed, I'm not smart enough to do the math but can anyone tell me what my base defense on my AP is without the extra 9% so I can compare it to what the vanilla base would be?

Armors with ed have max defense +1, so base defense on that 9ed AP would be 524+1 = 525.
