pvp works fine in LoD but only a handful of players and they are quite toxic ego driven nerds being big fish in a small pond tbh you would prob kill em all in 5 mins and wouldn't even be a challenge then you'd get bored fast its not worth investing time into it again
as for d2r pvp is just straight up broken trash. maybe some builds can still pvp like fb sorc or someshit with super simple mechanics but yeah its not worth it either
your best option sadly is to find another game to play
