after a minute of showing that awful sign, i get the "battlenet is not responding. please try connecting again in a few minutes" message.

am i temp banned? i didnt even play the game during the whole fcking weekend... last day i entered was friday and everything was cool

does anybody know what's happening? thank you in advance

edit: i tried connecting for the first time in the day like an hour ago and that message appeared. i tried a minute ago and same result...

means you are temp banned. maybe you joined games to fast or...you were a naughty boy and used a VPN.

i guess i joined games too fast last week... but that kind of ban only lasts for an hour or so (at least that's how's always been for me) today i just couldnt enter to my account

and nooo! no vpn lol i learned my lesson in my gf's house last year (proxy, not vpn, but the ban is the same...) so i dont even launch the game when im in her house...

i just tried logging again after 24hours and same message... i didnt use vpn or proxy etc...

i dont use any third party programs nor anything like that... legit playing (actually as i mentioned no playing at all)

what may i done last time i played (last friday) that activated the ban? i played in my house and i did nothing out of the ordinary as always, nor nothing weird happened

Change your IP or wait for the ban to pass.

You can open a support ticket on the battlenet forum and they will tell you what the ban is.

Or I'd try through mobile in that case

the first time i got a 14days ban (for proxy) I went through the whole tedius process of getting a ticket. I don't feel like getting it again at the moment, given the fact that they will only tell me what caused the ban, but then cannot remove it. But of course it is indeed the only way to know for certail what is what caused the ban.

I guess I'll end up getting that cursed ticket anyways... just wanted to see if there were maybe another options... last time the ban said something else I think other than the "try again in a few minutes bla bla bla" message, but I'm not sure. Wanted to ask you guys first before going throught the proces etc...

you know the first time, I did try to do this along with the ip change thing, but I had 2 problems... first I'm not a computer man myseft if you know what I mean (?) ... and second, I'm not a native English speaker so it was really hard for me (actually imposible) to fully understand the tutorials and stuff with all those technical pc vocabulary and specific words. I couldn't follow the instructions, and I didn't want to bother anybody here nor anywhere. My friends don't know either how a pc works lol so I run out of options... and ofc I wasn't dying for not playing d2 so I just waited the 2 weeks ban... I guess I'll forcibly have to take another vacations from d2 again lmao

It depends on your Internet Service Provider whether you can change IP address or not. One thing you can try is to turn off your modem for a few hours or more, and turning it on again. Some ISP will change your IP.

By saying to connect via mobile, I meant "tethering".

PC --- mobile phone --- internet

You can check your mobile phone's setting and find tethering.

I'm not a native English speaker either but it is pretty easy to use tethering
