I was wondering does the majority of the community still play on the old school diablo?
or has everyone shuffled over to Diablo 2 remastered..


and i suppose my next question is if your on diablo 2 remastered:
is the ladder any better, are there less bots and has the drop rate for runes dropped?

lots of people playing d2r now, only very small community playing old version,
yes D2R has very few bots, they are slowly showing up but not really an issue yet,
drop rate for ruens is the same as far as I know

There should be a ladder reset for the 'old school' d2 in June. Some will play the start for sure.
But the majority moved over to D2R, unfortunately

I play d2, hate d2r and encourage everyone to ditch it and go back to the genuine d2.

see at the open games.. not many play resurrect..... so is ith... dupers there , bots there... after 4,5 weeks prices down? u see it here and ingame^^

i play this resurrect round since 1 weeks.... not one rune over pul..... 5 keys in 300 keyruns.... and now u say me why people here sell ber runes in big packs of 40+^^ (one player)

Main difference is probably that they are activly patching D2R. Right now they are 2.4...whilie legacy is on 1.14d (for all eternity probably).
Also, because of how the clusters work in legacy D2, you see much less ppl in channels ingame. So, if you enjoy meeting the same ppl over and over again and are not disturbed by the fact that Annis now are in super low supply (ingame especially), you gonna like legacy d2. xD

So much wrong here.
I'll just say anni's (imo) are not in short supply. There are more anni's now than ever.

I think il stick with diablo 2 for awhile, and probably purchase remastered if it ever goes on sale..
The cost of the remastered almost doesnt seem worth it, if the only additions are HD graphics and an expended inventory....
