With how badly blizzard just fucked up d2r, which is a “remaster” of a almost universally recognized game that defined an entire genre, I highly doubt they can build something from scratch worth a fuck.

Not to mention with how bad d3 was compared to d2. And they are leaning on a lot of d3 game design.


So no. D4 will be just a highly marketed video game of low quality that will sell lots of copies and have micro transactions.

It will likely be a commercial success, but a terrible game, especially in comparison to d1 and d2

i believe the hype for any diablo game died after d2r release (if there were any left after diablo inmortal announcement)

but i might be wrong. the thing is that i havent found yet people saying: d2r is/became my favorite game! or things of the sort...

as the guys above mentioned, i dont think (at least on this forum) people are excited about any new diablo game, no matter how promesing it looks from the outside, blizz seems to put a lot of effort in ruining the gaming experiece and just fails (apparently purposely) in making a quality game

Not at all. Diablo 3 pretty much ruined it for me, I'll stick with d2.

I'm shocked at the character selection in D4, same old stuff, nothing new, they'll probably make necro or assassin dlc, the game has completely lost touch with its roots.

Immortals is free to play I heard? I haven't even read about it since the whole announcement fiasco, free to play games end up sucking after a while because people can buy their way to the top, and I just don't care enough to spend money on that nonsense.
