Maining a grief and ebotd both in zerker axes.
My grief breaks way too often so I’m looking to switch back to Sword mastery and use my phase blade for the grief.
Need a sword to go with it should I stick with botd RW or use something else?
If I DO stick with botd what would be the best sword base to put it in and how good is it in a sword

Keep seeing everyone say zerker axes but like I don’t have the time or the ort runes to repair my zerker grief 4 times per game lol

I always personally enjoyed the option of using the botd cb as a 2 handed weapon vs certain spots in game.

I used a botd cb / fort / SS -barb for rushing back in 2008. Was a fun change of pace. Using my variation of 312's chaos barb.

Google 'd2 chaos barb 312' to get a d2jsp result for one of the fastest killing char builds I've seen. Subbing out the weapon on it will slow you down some, but it was more fun for me and I didnt plan on 99'ing the thing.

2x grief..

😏that’s my holy grail build on non ladder. Full IK I do 9k per WW 30 Dmg reduction max bo 5K life 15+ duel leech. Invincible.

2x grief works great. I only use phase blades because of the same annoyance with repairing zerker. Just need a decent source of life leach and a lower mana leach and you'll be wrecking.

You actually only need the 1x grief. Have a broken weapon (or even throwing knives with zero quantity) in your offhand and the game will copy your mainhand weapon. Nice glitch that saves you a Lo rune
