Running the number of Max Dmg x Attacks per second (with 20 ias) CV comes out with the highest DPS against everything else
The New Best in Class Mancatcher comes in with the lowest DPS calculation of 558 base
CV comes out on top with 770, 300 max more than the best in class
I can see low str requirements being a thing for CA/Thresher, but I think I am going with CV for insights/infinities

Change my mind.

There is 18 years of data supporting than thresher is better than CV due to its combiNeion of hits per second and damage per hit. Which puts thresher above CV.

Not to mention that CV is worse than cryptic axe, of which both cryptic and CV have the same ias speed, just CV has less overall damage.

Again, you are clueless. Don’t think for yourself.

I'm calculating DPS, Guaranteed Min dmg doesn't mater as much as max dmg does

Average is what matters.

CA has more average than CV.

Ca > CV

Doesn’t seem like math is your strong suit.

Not only is CA better than CV, even if you build your merc wrong and aren’t hitting the IAS BPs, but both thresher and greater thresher are better than both CA and CV if you build your merc correctly.

There are other sources affecting attack speed than weapon itself and thing called breakpoints.

CV’s became popular because they auto get 4 sockets, not because they offer any advantage.

I’m surprised anyone made cv infinity’s at all after 2.4 making the auto 4 socket, faster and much lower req stygian pike an option.
