Success is based on common effort. Any group or society, even the whole world population, is only as strong as it's weakest link. Our success lies in great cooperation. There is an old Danish quote: "Løft i flok saa kan i bære, folket op til fremtids ære." ^^ It means something like "Lift as a group and you can carry the people's honor up to future's glory."
Translated to this, it means that you should always give leftover drops to newbs in public games. That makes everything more worthwhile. The game doesn't any longer just revolve around mindless grinding, but acts of gratitude and appreciation. And that's the glue that binds society together. Greed and market isolation is the poison that keeps people distant.
