Depending on gear, cryptic axe is either the second or third best.
The differences are very minimal, especially when you consider it’s just for pvm.
The rea difference comes in when you are in P8 games and the faster bases have crushing blow go off more often. But this is really only noticeable if you aren’t a sorc, due to static field, or Java zon, due to charged strike basically one shotting everything. Then the only difference comes into play when you are fighting lightning immune champion monsters in P8 where infinity doesn’t break immunity and your merc is the only real damage source.
Such a situational thing where the time it takes to find a better base will be longer than the total time savings having the slightly better base provides
Use the CA, move on, and don’t worry about it.
